Folse House Fire

On Christmas day I got a text from a friend asking me to pray for her dogs, her house was on fire with the dogs inside. I called her to find that while they were at holiday dinner 40 miles away her house was engulfed in flamesâ?¦Lori and Family Must Start OverLori is the mother of 2 teens and has adopted a third teen who needed to be placed with a family member. They have spent the last few years renovating a modest home to handle repairs from various natural causes such as hurricane damage left over from Katrina (water and mold damage) and renovated for the addition of their adopted daughter Memoree and after her mother suffered a serious stroke the family was making arrangements for mom to come there. Loriâ??s home began as a small mobile home and over the years additions were built. Friends and family joined in..that barter and trade style works out well when you and your kids are willing to help someone else in need. Lori is known for helping others in need so when she needs a porch built, roof repaired or windows installed people come over for a little work and a fine dinner at the end of the day.Iâ??m sure those whose lives have been touched by Lori will come forward and help her in her time of need but moneyâ?¦well nobody really has a spare $100 they donâ??t need. I am starting at 10K because I have helped with another fundraiser for a fire victim a few years ago. That was a family of two adults, a pregnant teen and a severely disabled young boy. We couldnâ??t find anything for that family of 4 under 10K. A bunch of us with care and concern in our hearts gave freely and asked others to give a few bucks out of every paycheck. We managed to raise the 10K is less than 90 days. We purchased a small mobile home and had it delivered to their land. That family is now comfortable and celebrating their holiday in that home.
