Rick Cooper Accident Recovery

Rick Cooper, a loving dad, friend to many, and dedicated member of Dixie Thunder of Aiken County SC Motorcycle Rights organization was in a terrible accident July 5 2010

The Accident left him alive but badly broken. He suffered multiple spinal injuries, multiple broken ribs, broken sternum, bruised heart and brain.

It is believed that he had a heart attack that lead to his accident. Science however cannot determine which would have happened first because either way the heart would have produced the same enzyme. Because Rick was due for open heart surgery in the coming week it makes it very clear what happened that led to his accident.

Rick was unemployed before the accident. He has a very long hard road ahead of him and he will most likely not be employed again. While he has VA coverage, he will need help once he's home. This falls to his daughters Beth and Carrie. He has loving dedicated daughters who have been by his side the whole time. They do have families of their own though and they will need our help to take care of their dad until he is able to manage on his own.
